Welcome to steelappeal.com, an online store front for Left Foot Gallery. Left Foot Gallery is located in beautiful Northern Lower Michigan, 26 miles northwest of Traverse City. You will find a wide range of products to suite many tastes and styles. There are many companies that offer metal products. What sets us apart from all the others is the fact that 98% off our products are made in house from start to finish. We do our own designing, cutting, grinding, and finishing.

There are some custom items that require components purchased from other companies, and then are assembled at our shop. For larger items, too big for us to apply our copper patina finish, we sub-contract out for powder coating or airbrushing. We purchase as much of our operating materials as we can locally, allowing us to share out success with those companies in our own area.

Left Foot Gallery is owned and operated by Curtis Warnes. Curtis grew up in Glen Arbor, MI. a small town just minutes from where his business is located. At age 18 he moved away in pursuit of an education. After college he moved back to Glen Arbor for only a year before taking a job that required him to travel. Then in 2002 his daughter was born and the need for him to be back home was greater than ever.

As a child he had always dreamed of owning his own business in Northern Michigan, and as fate would have it, he was given the opportunity. That opportunity has become a nationally sold and recognized line of art and products. From Alaska to Florida, and Maine to Hawaii, our work can be found through out.
